Growing Crazy and Going Buggy!

It’s been a busy spring in Division 12! We’ve been “growing crazy” learning about seeds and plants, growing bean plants, sunflowers and other vegetables, and reading and writing about giants and beanstalks and that greedy Jack fellow. We finished up our study with a trip to Dinter Nursery where we got to plant our own tomato plants.

Springtime also means bugs and we have been studying insects as well. Right now we are raising butterflies in the classroom. They have formed their chrysalides and we are looking forward to seeing the butterflies emerge, hopefully later on this week.

We’ve also been practicing for our spring music concert. Our class will perform this Wednesday at 12:30 and again at 6:00 p.m. See you then!
